Tavern History
With the help of his family and with great passion, Kostas Loizou, from Tikomo, established our family run business, in the heart of Sotira, back in 1980. Our tavern serves delicious barbecued meze, as is the Cypriot tradition.
Delicious Meze
We offer the best souvlaki, sheftalia and gyros (marinated meat cooked while slowly turning) made from our own recipes. Many have complimented our chicken, so wonderful we are often asked ‘but how do you do it?’ Another favourite, recommended by our customers, is courgettes, or other seasonal greens, seasoned and fried with eggs. We have not yet mentioned the sumptuous fillets, steaks, loins (pork and lamb), livers and halloumi that we prepare. Our chips alone are enough to whet your appetite and are sourced from potatoes grown on our own farm.

The Tavern
Our restaurant holds up to 90 people and, with great prices and the most delicious food, is perfect for a party or group function.
We are open daily from noon until late, for your convenience.
